South Florida PBS (WPBT, WXEL, and Health Channel) is thrilled to  share an exciting lineup of programming this September. From celebrating Hispanic  Heritage Month to introducing new educational and health-focused content, South  Florida PBS invites viewers to discover stories that inspire, inform, and connect.

      PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS:

As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, South Florida PBS will present programming that  honors the vibrant culture, history, and contributions of the Latino community. Viewers  can look forward to VOCES American Historia: The Untold History of Latinos featuring John Leguizamo, Finding Your Roots: Mexican Roots with Mario Lopez and  Melissa Villaseñor, and the prestigious 38th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards.

These programs highlight the richness of Latino heritage through powerful storytelling  and meaningful narratives.

The schedule also features an exciting variety of premieres across genres, from nature  and cooking to history and public health. Audiences can immerse themselves in the  return of Big Cats 24/7 with its much-anticipated second season and enjoy new  episodes of The Marlow Murder Club.

      COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:

Beyond the screen, South Florida PBS is proud to engage with the community through  special events.

This month, families are invited to the KidVision Dance Time Season 2 Party, where  Miss Penny will host a lively day of music, movement, and fun. Local dancers will bring

a variety of styles to life on stage at Pinecrest Gardens in Pinecrest on Saturday,  September 20.

Looking ahead, South Florida PBS is excited to open its new immersive experience,  Egyptian Pharaohs: From Cheops to Ramses II, on October 3 at the South Florida  PBS Studios in Boynton Beach.
