The Emmy and Gold Medal-winning South Florida Youth Symphony celebrating its 60th season, will present a unique “Inside/Outside” concert, “Butterflies, Birds and Begonias,” on Mar. 2, at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Rd.

“We’ll be featuring a program of international fare that will satisfy everyone’s palate,” said Marjorie Hahn, SFYS executive and music director. “The concert will give South Florida a preview of our cruise competition.”
The SFYS program is sponsored with the support of Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, Miami-Dade County Mayor and County Commissioners, The Children’s Trust, Miami-Dade County Office of Management and Budget, State of Florida Division of Cultural Affairs, The Kirk Foundation, Publix Charities, The Nancy Friday Foundation, The Knight Foundation and Miami Dade College, North Campus.
The concert is free with a paid admission to Fairchild. Adult admission is $24.95 and senior admission is $17.95. Students (with ID) are $15.95, and children (ages 6-17) are $11.95.
