Smorgasburg Miami returns Oct. 4-5 with new vendors, market upgrades
The one-day festival will bring together more than 15 breweries and the market’s 40-plus food vendors for a full day of beer, food and community in Wynwood.

After its annual fall refresh, Smorgasburg Miami, the city’s largest open-air food market, will reopen for the 2025-26 season on the weekend of Oct. 4 and 5 in Wynwood.

Known as much for its community atmosphere as for its food, Smorgasburg has become a true incubator for Miami’s next generation of culinary entrepreneurs, providing chefs, bakers, restaurateurs and beverage makers with a platform to test their concepts, grow their followings and connect directly with hungry fans without the high costs of a brick-and-mortar space.

Opening weekend will begin on Saturday, Oct. 4, with Fresh Picks Beer Fest, Smorgasburg’s first-ever craft beer celebration. The one-day festival will bring together more than 15 breweries and the market’s 40-plus food vendors for a full day of beer, food and community in Wynwood.

Guests will be able to sample specialty pours from both local and national breweries including Tripping Animals Brewing, Other Half NYC, Threes Brewing, and Ambrosia Elixirs. Entertainment will include live music, contests, games and family-friendly activities. Beer samples will be available with tokens ($25 for five tokens, each redeemable for one pour).

This season, the market will reopen with more than 40 local food, drink and retail vendors, including over 15 exciting newcomers, serving up everything from bold global street food to creative sweets. Smorgasburg also will debut the Boat Bar, a new centerpiece that will anchor the market’s beverage program. Featuring a curated spritz menu alongside other signature cocktails, the Boat Bar will serve as a gathering spot for guests to cool off, imbibe and socialize between bites.

The vendor lineup reflects the diversity of Miami’s food scene, with some new highlights including:
Arepa Xpress – Colombian/Venezuelan fusion arepas
Buscia’s – Polish buns
DVASH – Mediterranean fusion
Flamingo Bubble Waffles – Sweet & savory bubble waffles
Ikigai Sushi Catering – Japanese cuisine (Omakase + Sushi)
Makana Kava Gastrobar – Hawaiian fusion
Mori Matcha – Japanese matcha desserts and drinks
Piadina 305 – Italian flatbreads (piadina)
Platano Power – Dominican cuisine
Primoo Boba – Taiwanese boba tea
Toasted – Gourmet sandwiches and melts

Rounding out the lineup are returning favorites like Tasty T’s, The Lazy Oyster, La Birrieria Tijuana, La Picaña Grill, Korean Kitchen and Kabuki Soba, making Smorgasburg Miami a one-stop destination for the city’s most creative bites.

“We’re excited to be reopening this season with an incredible roster of vendors,” said Gaston Becherano, owner of Smorgasburg Miami. “Each year we focus on elevating the market experience with fresh talent and new offerings, and this season really highlights the diversity and creativity of Miami’s food culture. Smorgasburg continues to be a launchpad for small businesses, and we’re proud to play a role in supporting their growth.”

Adding to the reopening excitement is the launch of No Reservations, a new Sunday series created in partnership with Humans of the Kitchen. Beginning Oct. 12, 10 cooks — line cooks, sous chefs and emerging culinary talent — will each take over a pop-up container kitchen for one day. Some will be nominated by some of Miami’s top chefs and others will be chosen through open applications based on the creativity of their dish and the story behind it. The kitchen is free to use, and all profits go directly to the cook, giving Miami’s next generation of chefs a powerful platform to share their food.

Smorgasburg Miami is located at 2600 NW Second Ave. in the heart of Wynwood. Offering a family-friendly space for the community to enjoy food, culture and entertainment, entry to Smorgasburg Miami is free and open to the public. The market is open Saturday and Sunday from noon until 8 p.m. For additional information, follow Smorgasburg Miami on Instagram @smorgasburgmiami or visit www.smorgasburgmiami.com.
