On August 31, 2025, Strive305 reached an exciting new milestone. What began as a local initiative in Miami-Dade County is now being recognized as a national—and even global—model for entrepreneur-led economic development.
A live webinar, hosted by Strive305HUB partner Economic Impact Catalyst, brought together economic development professionals from across the United States and beyond. Attendees joined from American Samoa, Chattanooga (TN), Chicago (IL), Dallas (TX), Denver (CO), Des Moines (IA), Flint (MI), Johannesburg (South Africa), Los Angeles (CA), New Orleans (LA), New York City (NY), San Francisco (CA), St. Louis (MO), and many other cities.
This powerful gathering marked a defining moment for Strive305. The initiative’s best practices—developed and refined in Miami-Dade County—are now being shared with communities nationwide and internationally. What sets Strive305 apart is its grassroots, community-first approach: a hyperlocal, neighborhood-centered strategy that emphasizes face-to-face support, community trust, and standing shoulder to shoulder with those risking their capital to build something meaningful.
The webinar drew strong engagement, with Team Strive305 spending the entire hour answering questions from city leaders eager to replicate the program’s success. Many wanted to understand how Strive305 was able to build such a powerful and trusted brand in a relatively short time. The answer? It’s about meeting people where they are—both literally and figuratively.
Strive305’s formula for success includes listening deeply to entrepreneurs, removing barriers, and creating capacity through responsive programming and resourceful partnerships. By collaborating with local stakeholders, the initiative has helped thousands of business owners launch, grow, or scale their ventures—often with limited access to traditional capital or support systems.
One of the standout lessons shared was Strive305’s agility. The program continuously adapts to community needs while staying laser-focused on impact. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach, but rather a flexible model designed to be responsive to the specific economic realities of each neighborhood it serves.
As cities and regions around the world search for more inclusive and resilient models of economic development, Strive305 is proving to be both innovative and replicable. Its emphasis on entrepreneur-led, bottom-up strategies is helping reshape how ecosystems are built—shifting the narrative from top-down policies to community-empowered solutions.
Now, economic development leaders from across the U.S. and beyond are working to bring the Strive305 model to their cities. The demand reflects a growing understanding: real economic growth begins at the street level, in local communities, with everyday entrepreneurs.
What began in Miami-Dade is no longer just a local story. It’s a global movement grounded in the belief that entrepreneurship can—and should—be a powerful force for economic equity, opportunity, and transformation.
