Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden brings the Caribbean to Miami with its Taste of the Caribbean Festival, a day of island flavors and cultural celebration on September 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This event will offer an authentic culinary experience featuring dishes from Cuba, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Belize. Guests will enjoy a variety of food tasting stations, where vendors will showcase their specialties, while lively Caribbean-inspired cocktails will set the island mood.
In addition to the culinary offerings, the festival will feature family-friendly activities including traditional Caribbean games like limbo, fruit sack races, and dominoes. Adults and children alike will be entertained with an array of fun competitions and island-style entertainment. The Island Market will bring a curated selection of Caribbean spices, hemp products, and handmade goods, offering a taste of island life in Miami.
