Tax Collector announces 4% discount on property tax bills starting Nov. 1

Miami-Dade County property owners soon will receive their property tax bills from the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector.

Payments will be accepted beginning Wednesday, Nov. 1. Property owners are strongly encouraged to take advantage of early payment discounts by the respective monthly deadlines:
• 4 percent discount for all payments received by Nov. 30;
• 3 percent discount for all payments received by Dec. 31;
• 2 percent discount for all payments received by Jan. 31, 2024, and
• 1 percent discount for all payments received by Feb. 29, 2024.

Payments can be made online by visiting https://county-taxes.net/fl-miamidade, by mail (post-marked accepted), and in-person at 200 NW Second Ave., Miami, FL 33128. All payments are due no later than Mar. 31, 2024.

No fees apply for payments made via e-check using a bank account; credit card payments may be subject to processing fees. Property owners are responsible for paying their tax bill, although many opt to submit payments through their mortgage escrow account.

The Miami-Dade County Tax Collector encourages taxpayers to pay online by Nov. 30 to obtain the maximum discount.
