Make-A-Wish Southern Florida recently granted an amazing wish for 16-year-old Daniel Shtifman, who had a brain tumor. It also happened to be his 16th birthday.

Daniel and his family traveled all the way from Vancouver, Canada, for an exotic car experience. Daniel’s wish was granted by Make-A-Wish board member Dennis Crowley and included access to a private collection of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, and a variety of race cars.

The day started with a chauffeur-driven limousine ride from the Fontainebleau and continued at Crowley’s private garage/Man Cave in Doral and We are Curated, a historical gallery of vintage supercars in Downtown Miami. Daniel appreciated the opportunity to see and ride in some of the world’s fastest cars and called it his best birthday ever.

Crowley is the CEO/chair of Doctor’s Choice Pharmacy, a nationwide chain of retail pharmacies. He is a large donor to Make-A-Wish who has given to the construction of the nonprofit’s “wish house” headquarters (also in Miami) as well as to underwrite expenses at the annual InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball.
