The Little Lighthouse Foundation’s (“LLF”) 13th annual Hearts & Stars Gala will take place on Saturday, Mar. 4, in Miami Design District’s Jungle Plaza.
All proceeds of this spectacular event will go towards benefiting LLF’s mission of assisting children and families in South Florida who struggle with educational, financial, and medical hardships.
Guests are invited to dance the night away at the James Bond-themed party with a special performance. Jenise Fernandez, Local 10 News, six-time Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter will host the Hearts & Stars Gala.
The night will consist of five hours of open bar featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Bacardi Rum, Patron Tequila Blanco, Cazadores Blanco Tequila, Bombay Sapphire Gin, Stella Artois, Michelob Ultra, Bud Light NEXT, Antica Fratta and Victoria Cuvee from Tita Italian Wine, & Delicatessen, sparkling water from LaCroix, and still water from Fiji.
James Bond loved to travel and sample food around the world so the 2023 Hearts & Stars Gala will feature a selection of food from James Bond’s travels across the globe including featured bite’s from some of South Florida’s top restaurants — including Coyo Taco, Delicious Caterer, CHICA, World Famous House of Mac, Italica Midtown, Calista, Casa Bufala, Piacere Pizza, and Potions in Motion — paired with over-the-top production designed to ensure that guests experience a night to remember.
This year will feature a special casino activation reminiscent of James Bond’s trip to Cuba in Die Another Day, Gran Casino Nacional. With live casino games (for raffle tickets), a vintage bar from Bacardi, and silent auction items with James Bond memorabilia courtesy of Whip Fundraisinig. Just like walking into Kamal Khan’s Palace in Central India, guests will step up inside the Tito’s Martini Lounge and choose from four delicious, authentic Bond Martinis like the Vesper from Casino Royale.
In the exclusive Aroma360 VIP area sits the Aroma360 bar and Calvisius Caviar Station sponsored by Tita Italia. They are serving one solid kilo of caviar with a street value of $12,000. Don’t miss the opening of the Caviar at 10:15 p.m. sharp. You know James Bond would be there for the first bite.
Before the night ends, The Little Lighthouse Foundation’s Shining Light Award will be presented to Gale Nelson, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, designating him as the community member who embodies the spirit of philanthropy and significantly furthers LLF’s mission. LLF also will present its Corporate Partner award to World Red Eye — for its support of LLF to further its mission.
