Tomorrowland, once a beloved pop-up and now a permanent fixture, makes its long-awaited return.
Originally an automobile service shop, the venue located at 1368 N. Miami Ave., pays homage to its storied past while transforming into a refined, sultry cocktail bar featuring both indoor and outdoor seating with breathtaking views of Downtown Miami’s skyline.
In a city where nostalgia and local history are cherished but often fleeting, Tomorrowland offers more than just a cocktail experience — it reconnects guests to Miami’s vibrant past while creating new memories. First launched as a pop-up in 2017, the venue has served as the backdrop for Hollywood hits like The Fast and the Furious and Rock of Ages.
The new space retains its iconic garage doors while enveloping guests in an undeniably alluring atmosphere, reminiscent of cocktail bars often seen in Amsterdam. Bathed sexy red lighting and a sultry blend of rugged metallic accents from its automotive roots combined with sophisticated, upscale finishes, the interior features a sleek, intimate 10-seat wraparound bar with camel leather bar seats and cozy, stylish tables for 20 guests.
Deejays curate the perfect soundtrack and vibes, allowing guests to enjoy the music while still engaging in conversation, making Tomorrowland ideal for both a lively happy hour or night out.
As the evening progresses, the venue transforms sultry hotspot.
The patio exudes Miami charm, offering outdoor seating for 40 guests with stunning views of the Miami skyline. It’s the perfect setting for twilight cocktails under the stars, enhanced by a mural from renowned street artists Alec Monopoly and Tesoe. This outdoor lounge space is the ultimate blend of art, culture, and Miami’s vibrant energy, offering a picturesque scene that feels straight out of a postcard. Whether you are enjoying the sunset or sipping late into the night, the patio is a must-visit for anyone seeking a chic yet relaxed vibe.
The cocktail menu at Tomorrowland is crafted to match the venue’s seductive atmosphere, featuring 10 bold and irresistible signature drinks.
For those wanting something to nibble on, the venue offers snacks like Tablas de Quesos and Iberian delights; the Bikini, a pressed sandwich with chorizo, Mahón cheese, honey, and sea salt, as well as shareable bites such as the Trio, featuring olives, Marcona almonds, and chips.
The menu also includes Empanadas of the day, offering a fresh selection daily. These bites are designed to be light, as the creators focus on being a cocktail-driven venue, making it the perfect place to go pre or post dinner for a cocktail or a few.
A labor of love from Miami natives, co-founders Jessica Fuentes Victor, husband Fritz Victor, and father Luis Fuentes — all seasoned hospitality veterans — have brought this unique vision back to life after years of hard work.
“We believed in this project so much that we just couldn’t give up,” said Jessica Fuentes Victor. “Since we took over this corner in 2017, we’ve been faced with every challenge possible — enough to make you question if you should continue.
“But that wasn’t an option for us. We knew the space was special from the moment we saw it. Now that we’re permanent, it feels surreal. Nothing good comes easy, and this is going to be great. It was worth the wait,” she added.
Tomorrowland is a resurgence for Miami’s nightlife scene, located in an iconic corner once home to venues like Karu & Y and Pawn Shop. Tomorrowland’s return symbolizes a revival for Miami locals who have long frequented this area. With its blend of history, community, and vibrant energy, Tomorrowland is poised to become a go-to spot for those seeking a sexy, sophisticated yet nostalgic with a relaxed charm for any mood, any day.
Tomorrowland is open Thursday-Sunday from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. For more information about the venue, including upcoming events and special offers, visit Instagram at @TomorrowlandMia or check out the website at TomorrowlandMiami.com.
