WHAT: UHealth—University of Miami Health System will host a free, family-friendly Community Celebration to mark the opening of the new UHealth SoLé Mia Medical Center in North Miami. The event will feature activities for all ages, health and wellness experiences, giveaways, and an opportunity for community members to explore UHealth’s AI-enabled, seven-story, 363,000-square-foot ambulatory facility—the largest outpatient center in UHealth’s history.
Attendees can enjoy food from local eateries, interactive health-themed games, custom keepsake stations, and wellness experiences such as the popular smoothie bike and U mini golf course. UHealth and City of North Miami leaders will share remarks celebrating this new era of accessible, academic-based health care for residents across northern Miami-Dade and southern Broward counties.
