UM’s Chi Omega sorority helps boy get his wish
Maddox Langbein, 7, (pictured sitting in center) is joined by his family as well as his honorary sisters from Chi Omega.

Maddox Langbein, a seven-year-old diagnosed with Moyamoya disease, a rare condition where narrowed arteries in the brain significantly increase the possibility of stroke, recently visited with the Chi Omega sorority at the University of Miami and learned fundraising done by the sisters meant his wish to go to Disneyland in California would be granted.

Langbein, a Plantation resident, celebrated on campus with a party that involved his favorite Disney movies, games, food (Chick-fil-A nuggets), and cake.

Maddox and his family, including little brother Marshall, made it to Disneyland on his wish trip.
