Following months of foundation work, vertical construction is officially underway at The Rider Residences, a boutique luxury condominium being developed in Miami by a joint venture between South Florida-based developers Ciprés and Rilea Group.

With the development’s foundation system now complete, general contractor Beauchamp Construction is progressing skyward with approximately one floor set to be completed approximately every one to two weeks through top-off later this year. Delivery of the 12-story tower remains on track for 2027.

Situated at 94 NE 29 St. at the crossroads of Miami’s Wynwood, Midtown, Edgewater and Design District neighborhoods, The Rider will feature 152 turn-key residences, 11,000 square feet of ground-floor and rooftop retail/F&B space, resort-style amenities, and a bold architectural design that reflects sophisticated urban living in Miami.

With prices ranging from $650,000 to upwards of $2.5 million, The Rider offers fully furnished studios, one, two-, and three-bedroom residences and penthouse units, with select floorplans featuring dens and half baths, ranging from 386 to 1,612 square feet.

With nearly half of the building’s residences already sold, the project is advancing into vertical construction backed by strong buyer demand and institutional financing. The Rider continues to build momentum as buyers gravitate toward its bold, art-forward, turnkey lifestyle concept, with particularly strong interest from European, South American, and New York purchasers – underscoring its appeal to design-conscious domestic and international purchasers.

“Commencing vertical construction is a defining milestone for both Ciprés and Rilea Group and reflects years of thoughtful planning and collaboration,” said Diego Ojeda, founder of Ciprés and president of Rilea Group. “From the beginning, The Rider was conceived not as a commodity building, but as a rare collectible piece of architecture. In a market driven by scale, we chose precision – creating something petite, with the cultural edge of a boutique hotel and the permanence of a legacy asset.”

In late 2025, Ciprés and Rilea Group secured a $90 million construction loan from Mexico’s Banco Inbursa for The Rider, signaling strong investor confidence in the project’s bold, art-driven vision. The development has already completed high-profile cryptocurrency transactions and offers the option for direct wallet-to-wallet transfers, reinforcing its leadership at the intersection of real estate and digital finance. Together, these milestones position The Rider as one of the most innovative and forward-thinking developments shaping Miami’s evolving residential landscape.

Cervera Real Estate, a leading South Florida brokerage with deep expertise in luxury condo sales, is exclusively handling sales and marketing for the development.

“Reaching vertical construction is a meaningful validation point for buyers and reinforces the strong momentum we’ve seen since launch,” said Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, managing partner of Cervera Real Estate. “The Rider distinguishes itself through fully furnished, design-forward residences, flexible ownership, and lifestyle-driven amenities at a compelling entry point for new construction in Wynwood.

“Equally important is the credibility of Ciprés and Rilea Group, whose track record of investing early in emerging neighborhoods and delivering quality product gives buyers confidence in the long-term vision,” Cervera Lamadrid said.

The Rider’s architectural façade, designed by Miami-based Deforma Studio, blends Chicago’s industrial chic and the exposed brick, steel, and concrete of New York’s SoHo and Meatpacking Districts with Miami’s vibrant artistic energy. Interiors by award-winning Miami studio RADYCA – known for superyacht and luxury real estate design – bring a bold, high-fashion aesthetic inspired by the glamour and edge of the 1970s.

Drawing from art, film, fashion, and music, RADYCA incorporates midcentury furnishings and a $1 million photography collection from Los Angeles’ Morrison Hotel Gallery and London’s Iconic Images Gallery. The result is a building that feels less like a condominium and more like a private members’ club.

Residences will feature open living areas, gourmet kitchens with Italian Bertazonni appliances, Italkraft cabinets, Spanish Cosentino Dekton countertops, spa-inspired baths with Porcelanosa fixtures, smart home technology with keyless entry, and impact-resistant windows. The aesthetic of the residences will mirror the building’s common area designs, with rich hues, bold fabrics and a distinctive glamour.

Amenities at The Rider are designed to cater to residents’ and guests’ every desire, from wellness and relaxation to entertainment and adventure. Curated to feel experiential rather than excessive – with the sensibility of a boutique hospitality brand – the building will house a rooftop resort-style pool overlooking the city, a high-end restaurant and speakeasy bar accessible via a private elevator, private for-sale offices for remote workers, a hi-fi vinyl listening room, a pet spa, and a fitness center outfitted with top-tier equipment. Additional features include multiple cold plunge pools, infrared saunas, and a traditional marble Hammam/Turkish Bath.

For those seeking adventure, The Rider will provide a fleet of in-house Harley Davidson motorcycles, Vespas, and electric bicycles for rent, along with 24-hour valet service, EV charging stations, and a private parking garage.
