The 2026 College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship returns to Miami in January 2026, and with it comes an exciting opportunity for South Florida football fans to be part of the action. The 2026 Miami Host Committee, in partnership with Florida Blue, is seeking passionate and energetic volunteers to help create an unforgettable experience for fans, teams, and visitors from across the country.
With 2,000 volunteer shifts to fill during Championship Week (Jan. 13-20), roles will include greeters, wayfinding, set-up and break-down, check-in, and supporting green initiatives at ancillary events. Volunteers should bring enthusiasm, a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer service mindset.
“Welcoming the College Football Playoff National Championship back to Miami, the Host Committee is building a volunteer team that reflects the heart and hospitality of our community,” said Jack Seiler. “Our volunteers are often the first faces players, teams, and fans connect with, playing a key role in creating world-class experiences and showcasing why South Florida is the premier destination for championship events.”
In collaboration with community-minded partners, the volunteer program celebrates the spirit of service. As title sponsor, Florida Blue is helping ensure the program is inclusive, impactful, and accessible to anyone eager to be part of this historic moment.
“Florida Blue is proud to partner with the Miami Host Committee to support the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship,” said David Wagner, South Florida Market president for Florida Blue. “Volunteering is a meaningful way to give back, and this program allows people across South Florida to unite and make a lasting impact on visitors and our community.”
