All six Miami Whole Foods Market stores will be donating 5 percent of their net sales on Thursday, Aug. 31, to Zoo Miami Foundation.

The participating stores are located in Pinecrest, Coral Gables, Downtown Miami, South Beach, North Miami and Aventura. Proceeds raised will support Zoo Miami Foundation’s Education outreach programs for Miami-Dade schools as well as further the zoo’s wildlife conservation mission.

Shoppers are encouraged to patronize their local Whole Foods Market that day to help support Zoo Miami. The six stores are located at:
11701 S Dixie Hwy., Pinecrest, FL 33156;
6701 Red Rd., Coral Gables, FL 33143;
299 SE Third Ave., Miami, FL 33131;
1020 Alton Rd., Miami Beach, FL 33139;
12150 Biscayne Blvd., North Miami, FL 33181, and
21105 Biscayne Blvd., Aventura, FL 33180.

Whole Foods Market is passionate about supporting local community causes and organizations. Four times per year, each store holds community giving days called “5% Days,” when it donates to a local nonprofit or educational organization that reflects a cause that shoppers and neighbors care about.
