Woman’s Club Hurricane Comedy Relief Comes to Coconut Grove

“Laughter is the best medicine, and we know that the residents of Coconut Grove could surely use a healthy dose of humor after the storm,” said Woman’s Club President Marlene Erven. “We’re excited to partner with Comic Cure to bring some of Florida’s best comedians to the area for a night of laughs.” 

On Friday, October 6th, 2017, Gina G, Florida’s 2017 Funniest Female, Angela Nacca, and William “Rock the House” Lewis will be entertaining guests at the Woman’s Club Hurricane Comedy Relief sponsored by Illine Davila, P.A., of the Audrey Ross Team/Compass. The show will start promptly at 7:30 p.m at the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove clubhouse located at 2985 South Bayshore Drive, Coconut Grove, FL 33133. Tickets are available online here or at www.womansclubofcoconutgrove.org for $20 or $25 at the door. VIP tickets can also be purchased by guests wishing to be close to the action for $125 which includes 4 reserved premium seating tickets and one bottle of wine. All patrons must be 18 or older as this is an “adult” show.

Prior to the show, doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for those who want to enjoy this historic venue with friends, neighbors, and colleagues. Cash bar and appetizer snacks. 

Woman’s Club Comedy Night is sponsored by Proceeds will support the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove’s historic building.

The Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove was established in 1891, five years before Miami became a city by Flora McFarlane and the pioneer women of CG.  It is the oldest community service organization in South Florida and its clubhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
