The 24th annual Young Artists’ Gallery (YAG) will return to the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove on Mar. 23-24.
You can see and buy the works of Miami-Dade County’s finest high school artists. The juried selection finalists will be on display and over $25,000 in scholarships and honorariums will be awarded.
“As a working artist formed by my early education, I know how important art teachers are in an art student’s development. In this program we seek to encourage them even further,” said Lisa Remeny, the club’s YAG coordinator.
The exhibition will be open to the public, and you can come and meet the artists from 1 to 4 p.m., Mar. 23, with an awards reception at 2 pm. Exhibition also open from noon to 2 p.m. on Mar. 24 at 2985 S. Bayshore Dr. in Coconut Grove.
The Young Artists’ Gallery is a yearly juried art exhibit and scholarship program created by the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove in partnership with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. High school students can exhibit and sell their work, as well as earn college scholarships.
