Founded in 2016 by Sean Gazitua, WTDC president and CEO, WTDC’s Internship Program has provided more than 150 university students with valuable professional experience through mentorship and career development.
“As a Business Development and Marketing Intern, I gained hands-on experience in business development, marketing, and international logistics while building skills and confidence for my future career,” said Amaria Sajous, Business Development and Marketing Intern of WTDC. “One of the biggest lessons I learned was that marketing is much more than creating social media posts. Effective marketing requires research, strategy, and understanding business needs. I also had the opportunity to speak at WTDC’s Awards Ceremony which strengthened my confidence and communication skills.”
Sajous is studying International Business at Florida International University and will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Fall 2026. WTDC’s partnership with Florida International University provides students like Sajous with the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting while gaining valuable industry experience. The company’s Four Pillars — God and Family, Health and Education, Giving Back to the Community, and Working at WTDC — reflect the values that guide the organization’s growth and history.
