XIO by Ylette, a unique monthly jewelry subscription service co-founded by Ylette Luis, a Miami-based Cuban-American, fashion-forward entrepreneur, jewelry designer has announced its first children-inspired collection, “Camp Sophia,” designed by Ylette’s oldest daughter, Sophia.

Featuring freshwater pearls, camp jewelry, and colorful beads, this mother and daughter collaboration is meant to awaken memories from childhood and give jewelry lovers a sense of nostalgia by adding a spark of happiness and daintiness to their summer accessories collection.

The “Camp Sophia” collection features the following pieces inspired by sweet summer fun:
● Flower Power Hoops: Gold-Plated/Rhodium Plated 925 sterling silver mini hoops with freshwater pearls and cubic zirconia ($53 USD);
● Flower Power Necklace: Gold-Plated/Rhodium Plated 925 sterling silver necklace with freshwater pearls & cubic zirconia ($51);
● Sophi Smilez Necklace: Freshwater pearl necklace with pink or blue flower smiley face ($44);
● Summer Love Necklace: Shell Pearl hearts and varied colorful beads; a swim-safe necklace perfect for summer ($8), and
● BFFs Ring: A pair of handmade beaded flower rings. Available in pink and purple. One for you and one for your bestie ($15).

The “Camp Sophia” collection was heavily influenced by Sophia’s relationship with her mother, Ylette. Fascinated by her mom’s entrepreneurial spirit and with a knack for design, Sophia was captivated by her mom’s creativity and love for jewelry. After many years of watching her family business evolve, Sophia wanted to partake in the process by creating a collection that was designed and inspired for both children and adults alike, who want to keep that child within, alive.

“It was a crucial moment to watch my daughter evolve and let her experience the manifestation of her own creativity. Children’s creativity is not interrupted by anything, except their imagination,” said Ylette Luis.

This special collection makes it a full-circle moment for Ylette because she remembers curating and playing dress-up with her grandmother’s jewelry when she was a little girl.

Being able to witness her own daughter create jewelry pieces of her own was an extremely proud moment. “Being given the chance to share that with my own daughter has added a nostalgic feeling to this experience.”

The collection is available for purchase and sold exclusively online at https://xiobyylette.com. XIO by Ylette will continue to roll out a variety of collections monthly. For more information or to purchase visit https://xiobyylette.com.
