Celebrate Halloween with free Spooky Symphony on Oct. 28

Spooky Symphony — a ghoulishly wonderful repertoire performed by the Alhambra Orchestra and Greater Miami Youth Symphony — is a free family-friendly Halloween concert on Sunday, Oct. 28, 4 p.m., at Miami-Dade County Auditorium, 2901 W. Flagler St.

The program, presented by The Children’s Trust, features music from popular films such as Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and more, plus eerie selections from Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov. Additional concert highlights include a spellbinding multimedia presentation, a surprise vocalist and costume-clad musicians and audience members to enhance the supernatural experience.

The Alhambra Orchestra and Greater Miami Youth Symphony will be conducted by Daniel Andai and Huifang Chen.
