Love Thy Nature

On Wednesday, October 25th, 2017, the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove will present the film Love Thy Nature as part of this month’s Community Film Night. The film written by Sylvia Rokab and narrated by Liam Neeson, LOVE THY NATURE, shows that a renewed connection with nature is a key to good health and to solving our environmental and climate crisis. A discussion of the film will follow the showing.

Love Thy Nature will be shown at 7:00 p.m. at the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove clubhouse located at 2985 South Bayshore Drive, Coconut Grove, FL 33133. Entrance is free with a suggested donation of $10 per ticket. Tickets can be reserved online here or at www.womansclubofcoconutgrove.org. Cash bar and light snacks will be available. 

Proceeds from the Woman’s Club Community Film Night will support the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove’s Environmental Conservation Committee. The Conservation Committee efforts include various recycling projects, coastal clean-ups, Everglades restoration/preservation projects, conservation education, and more.

The Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove was established in 1891, five years before Miami became a city by Flora McFarlane and the pioneer women of Coconut Grove.  It is the oldest community service organization in South Florida and its clubhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
