Armando Llechu Named Chief Operating Officer at Broward Health Coral Springs

Broward Health Coral Springs is pleased to announce that Armando Llechu has been named the hospital’s Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, which starts June 9, Llechu will oversee daily operations at the 278-bed hospital located in northwest Broward County.

A seasoned healthcare executive with experience driving results at large healthcare systems, Llechu most recently served as chief officer of hospital-based care at Lee Health in Fort Myers where he led operations, quality and cost management for the five-hospital system. He also served at Miami’s Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in various leadership roles, including vice president of clinical operations and administrative director of the emergency department and support services.

Llechu earned his Bachelor of Health Services from Florida Atlantic University and his Master of Business Administration from Florida International University. He’s also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
