Banesco USA, a Florida state-chartered bank with over $4.4 billion in assets, has announced the hiring of a team of four experienced banking professionals to expand the bank’s presence in Broward County and serve its growing business community. The bank recently established a new office location for its Loan and Deposit Production office in Plantation. Subject to regulatory approval, Banesco plans to open a full-service branch at this location later this year.
The Broward banking team is led by Senior Vice President Joshua Montagna, who will serve as Broward Market Executive. He is joined by Kimberly Cagiano and Matthew Kronfeld, both serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Banking, and Livan Ruiz, Customer Relationship Officer.

The newly hired banking team brings decades of combined expertise in relationship banking and are actively involved in Broward’s civic and business community:
- Mr. Montagna, with nearly 20 years in the financial services industry, will lead the bank’s efforts in the Broward market, focusing on corporate and commercial banking. He will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and build strong client relationships within the region. He holds an MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University, a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Florida State University and currently serves on NSU’s Ambassadors Board.
- Ms. Cagiano will provide strategic financial solutions to corporate and commercial businesses in the private sector, leveraging over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. An active member of her community, Ms. Cagiano serves as board chair of ARC Broward, Junior Achievement’s Circle of Wise Women and Co-Chair of its Membership Committee and is a lifetime honorary board member. She also holds academic degrees from Broward College and Bellevue University and is a graduate of the Leadership Broward program.
- Mr. Kronfeld’s role will focus on fostering new corporate and commercial client relationships in the Tri-County with a focus on the Broward market, where he has 18 years of successful experience. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and serves on the board of directors of Boys & Girls Club of Broward County.
- Mr. Ruiz, in the role of Customer Relationship Officer, will build and maintain client relationships, as well as ensure their financing needs are met. He holds an academic degree from Miami Dade College.
