Check presentation was held at ChildNet’s Palm Beach office on Thursday, September 11
ChildNet, the Community-Based Care Lead Agency for Broward and Palm Beach Counties, has been awarded $400,000 in congressional appropriations funding. This federal support, secured through Senator Tina Polsky, will expand and enhance visitation services for the children and families ChildNet serves.
The funding will allow ChildNet to increase the number of on-site visitation rooms from three to eight and hire additional staff and transportation facilitators. These improvements will make it easier to safely transport children and increase the frequency of family visits, including evenings and weekends, helping strengthen family connections and support reunification efforts.
“We are so thankful to Senator Tina Polsky for her generous investment in the children and families we serve,” said Larry Rein, ChildNet CEO & President. “This funding allows us to expand our resources and increase meaningful family visits, which are essential to the reunification process.”
