Seasonal Cruises Feature Live Music Along Fort Lauderdale’s Beautifully Illuminated Waterways, December 4 to January 3
This season, give the gift of a memorable experience and set sail on the Fort Lauderdale’s Water Taxi Holiday Lights Cruise, a magical journey through the city’s iconic waterways from December 4, 2025 through January 3, 2026.
Guests can choose from two nightly departures at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Each 90-minute cruise features live musical entertainment, festive ambiance, and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Passengers will enjoy breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway’s beautifully illuminated docks, lavish estates and shimmering holiday décor.
“Our holiday lights cruise has become a favorite tradition among locals and visitors alike,” said Bill Walker, president & CEO of Water Taxi of Fort Lauderdale. “It’s a great opportunity to cruise into the holiday spirit and is an excellent experiential gift that all ages will enjoy.”
Cruises depart from The Riverside Hotel/Stranahan House Museum, Stop One on the regular Water Taxi route, located at 335 SE 6th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Guests are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to boarding.
Tickets are $45 for adults and $15 for children ages 4 and up. Children under 3 are free. Tickets may be purchased at watertaxi.com/tickets. Private charters are also available.
NOTE: There are no cruises on December 13 (Winterfest), December 24 (Christmas Eve) or December 25 (Christmas Day).
Parking: Parking is available within walking distance via metered street parking along Las Olas Boulevard or at the Las Olas Parking Garage at 620 East Las Olas Blvd.
