Holy Cross Health Nurse Clinician Dawn Daley Honored as July 2025 Colleague of the Month

Coconut Creek resident Dawn Daley, RN, BSN, PCCN was recognized as Holy Cross Health’s Colleague of the Month for July 2025. As a nurse clinician in the Intermediate Care Unit (ICM), she educates staff, onboards new hires, and assists with implementing policies and evidence-based practices.

“Dawn goes above and beyond in all that she does, embodying the true spirit of dedication, compassion and excellence in nursing,” said Kimone Perry, Manager of IMC, who nominated Daley for Colleague of the Month. “Dawn is more than just a skilled clinician. She is our mama bear and a pillar of support for our patients, their families and colleagues. She provides comfort and reassurance to those around her, creating a work environment that is not only efficient, but also uplifting and encouraging.”

Since joining Holy Cross 32 years ago as a charge nurse, Daley has worked in various positions at the hospital.

“Beyond her clinical expertise, Dawn is a true rockstar in every sense of the word,” continued Perry. “She leads with heart, works with purpose and inspires those around her to strive for excellence. Her level of commitment to her nursing team is unmatched and her actions consistently reflect the highest standards of our profession.”

Daley previously worked as a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio for seven years. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix and a Diploma of Nursing from St. Elizabeth Health Center School of Nursing. She also attended Youngstown State University.
