From a large- and small-plate deal at North Beach’s Sushi Bichi to a whimsical ice cream cone and cotton candy combo at Ocean Drive’s Icy-N-Spicy, Miami Beach eateries are countering the hot summer with refreshingly good offers to kick off the inaugural season of ‘Savor Miami Beach’ for the month of July.
“Savor Miami Beach supports our small businesses while giving residents and visitors more reasons to enjoy our city without overspending,” said Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner. “We’re focused on strengthening our local economy and making Miami Beach a more livable city for everyone who calls it home.”
Michelin-starred Stubborn Seed is offering a six-course prix fixe menu as its Savor Miami Beach promotion while inventive izakaya-style restaurant Sérêvène by Pawan Pinisetti is offering a prix fixe menu of its own and Italian favorite Spris is featuring deals on some of its pastas, pizzas and risottos at its Lincoln Road location.
In addition to great food, Miami Beach visitors can also take advantage of $1 hourly parking in July and August to maximize the savings. The parking discount is available exclusively through the ParkMobile app at municipal parking lots, garages and on-street parking throughout the city. Users will receive up to three discounted hours per parking session and up to 45 discounted hours in total throughout the two-month promotional period.
“What better way to promote our $1 summer parking initiative than to give people across Miami-Dade County a reason to come and visit Miami Beach,” added Miami Beach Commissioner Kristen Rosen Gonzalez, who sponsored the Savor Miami Beach item. “In addition to easy and cheap parking, we will have the best happy hour and summer specials around — all aggregated on Miami Beach. You can come and try one restaurant, or two or three. I am really excited to try Savor this July with my kids!”
