On May 31, 2025, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz hosted a free Small Business Workshop in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, offering valuable guidance on marketing, management, and financial strategies for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. Participating that day were board members of the Women Voice Network whose founder, Iris Garcia, shared how proud they were to participate and offer their business support services to survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, helping them explore pathways to economic independence through entrepreneurship and skill development.
