2015 Nissan Juke side view[dropcap]I[/dropcap]f there is one word to describe the 2015 Nissan Juke, “feisty” would be it. With a turbocharged, four-cylinder engine and eye-catching exterior, the Juke is definitely not a wallflower. The Juke comes standard with cloth upholstery, cruise control, trip computer and Bluetooth connectivity. However, the Juke does have a flaw in limited backseat and cargo room.

Exterior

Since its launch for the 2011 model year, the Nissan JUKE has stood out from the crowd with its fiercely sculpted headlights and hood, muscular lines, hidden rear door handles and fluid rear hatchback design.

For 2015, JUKE’s style is enhanced with new front and rear fascias that enhance premium and sporty performance cues.

While keeping its same dimensions and aggressive stance as previous years, the 2015 JUKE offers a fresh front-end look with its projector beam headlights and LED front Signature Accent Lamps. The grille incorporates the new Nissan V-Motion look, while more robust trim beneath the bumper adds to its sporty presence. The side rearview mirrors add standard integrated LED turn signal repeaters. The redesigned rear fascia features a more aggressive shape to match the revised boomerang taillights with LED accents.

Inside

Comfort and convenience enhancements for the new model year include standard Nissan Intelligent Key with Push Button Start, RearView Monitor and NissanConnect with Mobile Apps – including a 5.0-inch color display, USB connection port for iPod interface and other compatible devices, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, Streaming audio via Bluetooth and Handsfree Text Messaging Assistant.

Models for 2015

Following the addition of the JUKE NISMO model in mid-2013 and the JUKE NISMO RS in the spring, JUKE now is available in a range of five models for 2015 – S, SV, SL, NISMO and NISMO RS. Each grade level is available in All-Wheel Drive or Front-Wheel Drive.

The 2015 JUKE sport cross fuses the best qualities of a sports car, including a sporty driving position, dynamic handling and powerful turbo engine, with the best aspects of an SUV – such as a robust lower body, raised ground height and available all-wheel drive. JUKE has broad shoulder lines and large wheel arches, while its sporty side is evident in its raked windshield, upswept rear side windows, canopy like glass, high beltline and coupe-like falling roofline.

Under the Hood

For 2015, JUKE adopts a second-generation version of its proven 1.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) Turbo, 16-valve DOHC aluminum-alloy inline four-cylinder engine. Though it remains rated at 188 hp and 177 pound-feet of torque, the significantly revised engine design offers enhanced fuel efficiency, improved responsiveness and lower emissions.

Pricing

The base MSRP on the 2015 Nissan JUKE is $21,075.
