The 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX-Prestige AWD arrives with thoughtful updates, including interior and exterior changes that I really like.
The Sportage was completely redesigned in 2023 to deliver more tech and features for today’s savvy, adventurous consumers.
Starting at $37,500, the 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX-Prestige AWD has a 1.6-liter gas engine that offers 177 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. You can feel and hear the performance on the road, which is fantastic.
The 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX-Prestige delivers 38 miles per gallon in the city and 38 on the highway. Total range for this SUV is 521 miles.
On the inside of the cabin, you have huge legroom in the front and back rows. There is plenty of head space for even the tallest passenger and the seats are comfortable and spacious.
In the front you get a big steering wheel that is placed perfectly so you can still see the digital gauges on the 12.3-inch screen. A nice feature is that the speedometer face changes as you switch between the modes, which include snow, smart, sport and normal.
The adjacent 12.3-inch infotainment screen is designed so that it looks like it and the driver display are all one long screen. It looks amazing and I can’t wait for you to see and experience it. All of the digital features are crisp and easy to navigate.
Above you is a panoramic roof that extends almost the length of the top. It is truly amazing to get this level of quality amenity that is expected in cars that are double the price of the Kia Sportage.
The looks of the 2024 Kia Sportage cannot be beat, with black gloss accents throughout including at the base of the side mirrors. The front has both chrome accents and a gloss black grille that is a real standout. I like the incorporation of LED projection lights into the main beams as well as the fog lights. The glass black paint extends to the 18-inch wheels, which together with the elegant design of the body, make a distinct impression on the viewer. It is a great looking SUV.
