Electric Nissan Ariya Takes You Far

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Starting at just over $43,000, the 2023 Nissan Ariya has a simplified, solid interior with a great display.

This is an SUV that is focused on streamlined designs inside and out. The range of the vehicle is about 300 miles with a 87 kWh battery. It offers a 389 horsepower engine that can get you from 0-60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds.

The Nissan Ariya’s range and performance varies with the trim, from between 205 miles of driving time to 304 miles, so make sure you read everything carefully to get the distance you want.

For charging, you can do it at home or at public stations, including those with fast chargers.

Nissan has always been on a constant journey to evolve performance and reliability. And Ariya features Nissan’s most innovative battery technology yet. Its liquid-cooled thermal management system means better performance in hot and cold weather, plus more battery protection when using fast chargers.

The great technology features continue from there. The Nissan Ariya has an intelligent route planner that not only can plan the shortest and most efficient route, but also displays all the charge stations along the way. I like that because it cuts down on the time you might otherwise spend searching and searching for where to go.

In the interior, the floor lantern and door lights illuminate as you approach, while diffused white light subtly emanates from the inside. ARIYA’s battery layout allows for a flat floor and wide-open cabin layout, making room for five with an especially spacious second row.

A simple push of a button slides the entire console back and forth, opening up space where you need it and adapting to different driver’s needs. Carefully positioned within your reach is a dash tray that emerges on your command – providing a convenient space for a mobile desktop and additional storage for extra stuff.

Digital meets physical as illuminated buttons emerge on surfaces. Your touch activates them, and they respond with a simulated touch-back as a haptic response, so there is no confusion.

The Nissa Ariya has “zero gravity” seats inspired by the weightlessness of space, that help minimize pressure hot spots on the body.

In the trunk, you get lots of space. Being an electric vehicle offered designers the opportunity to rethink versatility. With an interior cargo capacity of up to 59.7 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down, Ariya adapts to the adventure with room to spare.

You can customize the space with up to six configurations and create secret storage or a series of flexible shelving with the available class-exclusive “divide-n-hide” cargo system. Oversize side storage pockets allow for plenty of room for extra drinks, cords, and other items you want to keep out of the way.

At the end of the day, the Nissan Ariya is a great option for any family that wants modern features with great comfort and performance.
