The 2022 Kia Seltos SX Turbo is a nice car with great mileage and nice details.

Starting at $28,000, the SX is a five-seater with lots of personality. In the city, the Kia Seltos gets 25 miles per gallon, 30 on the highway and a combined 27 miles per gallon. The exterior is handsome, with great lines and Kia’s signature front.

You get all wheel drive, a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine producing 195 pounds-feet of torque, a 7-Speed quick-shift DCT automatic transmission and lots of great features.

The 2022 Kia Seltos SX Turbo offers navigation on a 10.25-inch display, blind spot detection technology, lane keeping and lane following technology, 18-inch allow wheels, black exterior accents

The interior features ergonomic design, with ample passenger space and 2-step reclining second-row seats. I like lots of space in the cabin because I like driving and I don’t like to feel cramped. I know my passengers like the same.

Focusing on the interior, you can get wireless charging, which means you can simply place your compatible device on the charging pad for cord-free power on the go. That is a convenience that cannot be overstated when driving because the last thing you want to have to do is search the car like you are on a jungle expedition searching for the tip of that charging cable. It’s a big pain that I don’t want.

The sound of the available Bose system is fantastic, anchored by eight high-performance speakers, a digital amplifier, and dynamic speed compensation. What does that mean? Whether you are listening to great music with stomping base or an audiobook or podcast, the system delivers great clear sounds that will take you to your destination without missing a beat.

The generous cargo space in Seltos can easily adapt to meet your needs, with 60/40 rear split-fold seats and available roof rails.

So let’s talk safety, with the Seltos featuring all the great tools that are available today.

If you try to change lanes while an object is detected in the blind spot, available technology can apply brake pressure to the front wheel of the opposite side to help maintain your previous course. Standard forward collision-avoidance assist uses a sophisticated radar system, designed to help detect a potential collision and automatically applies the brakes in a variety of circumstances.

Lane following assist tracks the vehicle in front during high traffic conditions, and identifies appropriate spaces in other lanes to move in to safely and gain more ground in heavy congestion. The system uses external sensors to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front at all times, and only maneuvers when safe spaces are available.

Give the 2022 Kia Seltos SX Turbo a drive and start the new year with a great feeling while on the road.
