Here are a couple of features that I noticed immediately. If you have Amazon Alexa at home, you are going to love the 2023 Infiniti QX80 Sensory 4WD. Alexa is built in, which means you can control pretty much everything with the voice assistant. That makes basic controls easier to manage when you are driving.

There is also a haptic feedback alert that lets you know through vibrations in the steering wheel that you are drifting in your lane. That’s another great feature because sometimes looking in the side mirror can cause you to lose your attention on the road. This makes driving a whole lot safer, which I love.

Every 2023 Infiniti QX80 comes standard with a 5.6 V8 engine paired with either rear-wheel drive or Infiniti All-Mode 4WD in every trim. Mine came with 4WD, which I look for in all my vehicles. In Miami, you never know when you are going to need it.

This 400 horsepower engine produces 413 pound-feet of torque that delivers 14 miles per gallon in the city and 20 miles per gallon on the highway. Towing capacity is a fantastic 8,500 pounds. This is a powerful SUV that feels sometimes like a pickup truck because of its power.

So, I think it’s worth the $84,000 price tag because of what you get. The Sensory is the top of the trims and it feels like it. The craftsmanship inside is excellent.

The ride is smoother than most cars I have driven. This is due to the hydraulic body motion controls – you will feel the difference. The interior has remote tip-up second-row captain’s chairs, quilted semi-aniline leather seating, climate-controlled front seats, heated second-row seats, “charcoal burl” interior trim and a Bose Performance Series sound system with 17 speakers.

The Infiniti QX80 has a 12.3-inch touch screen display that is clear and easy to use. Passengers also have access to a rear seat entertainment system, which comes standard.

On the outside, you get an adaptive front lighting system with auto-leveling headlights and chrome mirror caps. The QX80 looks solid, like it can take on any road, and comes complete with a big, styled facia and a big Infiniti symbol on its front. I like big branding, so this is just my style.

I also like the other safety technology that puts the QX80 smack into one of the top luxury SUVs. It’s got forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, intelligent cruise control and blind spot intervention. It’s the complete package.

I recommend you give the 2023 Infiniti QX80 Sensory 4WD a spin and let me know what you think when you take it home.
