October wraps up with ASHFN Gala/Halloween parties and Chili Cook Off

Pictured here having fun at recent RCCG/ CGWC Charity Game Night hosted by Bay 13 are (L to R) board members of the Coral Gables Woman’s Club, Saesha and Rita Tennyson and Coral Gables Rotary’s Past President Greg Martini who founded their Chili Cook-Off during his term.

October is always such a busy month and in the next two weeks, there are so many great options for those looking to support worthy causes and have a good time. On October 22, 2022, A Safe Haven for Newborns Annual Gala will be held at the Hilton Downtown Miami. Last year’s ASHFN gala attracted more than 350 supporters celebrating the lives of over 360 precious newborns. This year’s event increases that number of babies saved from abandonment and possible death to 366 and counting. In the case of this organization, it is not just the babies that are saved but ASHFN also gives support and life changing help to all those mothers. Founder and CEO, Nick Silverio, who works 24/7 with no salary, inspires his one person staff and countless amazing Ambassadors to help support the organization with multiple fundraising events including the annual Gala, 5 K Run/Walk and a Golf Tournament. Nick was a recent guest on Gloria’s Gab LIVE. To view that show, visit Facebook or Youtube.
