Alhambra Orchestra ensembles to present free concert of lively folk music on Mar. 16

Small ensembles from the Alhambra Orchestra, led by artistic director Daniel Andai, will present lively folk music from England, Romania, Ireland, Spain, Russia, Latin America and the U.S., passed through the hands of talented composers and arrangers.

Bring your family to enjoy works by O’Connor, Vaughan Williams, Copland, Bartok, Dvorak, and more on Mar. 16, 7:30 p.m., at the Coral Gables Congregatonal Church, 3010 DeSoto Blvd.

See individual instruments of the orchestra up close as string, woodwind and brass ensembles bring these enchanting traditional tunes to life in the intimate setting of a lovely historic church. The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami s community orchestra, presenting live classical performances in affordable, convenient venues.

The concert is free, no tickets or reservations needed.
