Alhambra Orchestra’s concert to feature Italian composers
The Alhambra Orchestra

The Alhambra Orchestra, led by artistic director Daniel Andai, divides into small ensembles to bring you the wonders of Italian musical culture, on Sunday, Feb. 18, 7:30 p.m., in Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ, 3010 DeSoto Blvd.

Moving from Baroque greats like Vivaldi and Cambini, through the famous writers of grand opera, and into movie composers, orchestra members will perform a kaleidoscope of short Italian works for strings, winds, and brass. Highlights include the Vivaldi flute concerto La Tempesta di Mare with soloist Carol Naveira Nicholson, and Vivaldi’s Concerto for Four Violins spotlighting Andai and three friends.

Bring the entire family to this unique event. Admission is free and no tickets are needed.

For questions, or special accommodations, contact Alhambra Orchestra by phone at 305-668-9260 or email at music@alhambraorchestra.org.

The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, with a mission of giving everyone access to great classical music.
