Virtuoso violinist Steffen Zeichner, concertmaster of the Alhambra Orchestra, joins pianist Mia Vassilev and the Alhambra String Quartet members for a delightfully romantic afternoon of classical and popular favorites, Sunday, Feb. 11, 3 p.m., in Sanctuary of the Arts, 410 Andalusia Ave., Coral Gables.
Designed to give you a Valentine’s Day experience but still get you home in time for the Super Bowl, this program includes works of Brahms and Beethoven, plus virtuosic violin solos, tango, ballads, and more.
Steffen Zeichner performs locally in many genres including classical, jazz, swing, and klezmer, teaches at FIU, and is a popular studio performer who has played on Grammy-winning recordings.
Mia Vassilev is a Frost School and New World Symphony alum, recording artist, and former Barry University faculty member, currently producing her own solo shows nationally.
