The Shops at Merrick Park, recognized for its stellar selection of stores, dining venues and lush green spaces, has named Andrew Peach as senior general manager.
Peach will be responsible for all aspects related to the continued success of the Shops at Merrick Park, including but not limited to operations, leasing, business development, tenant relations and marketing.
“I am excited to be part of the professional team at Shops at Merrick Park,” Peach said. “My extensive retail management experience will be an asset to help broaden Shops at Merrick Park’s appeal to area residents and visitors and strengthen partnerships within the local community.”
Peach possesses nearly 10 years of experience successfully overseeing, leasing and re-developing regional and super regional malls. He joins Shops at Merrick Park from Columbiana Centre in Columbia, SC, where, as senior general manager, he was instrumental in the implementation of $7.8 million in capital development projects.
Prior to that, as general manager of the Oakwood Center in New Orleans, LA, Peach helped oversee the property’s $21 million redevelopment. He also has served in leasing and business development capacities for the national accounts division of General
Growth Properties where he was ranked a top performer and executed national deals netting $7.2 million in revenue.
Peach holds Real Property Administration, Specialty Leasing and Certified Shopping Center Manager designations. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
