Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida Returns to Coral Gables by Popular Demand
A One-Night-Only Performance at the Sanctuary of the Arts – February 7
Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, under the artistic direction of Maestro Vladimir Issaev, returns to Coral Gables by popular demand with a one-night-only performance on Saturday, February 7 at 7:30 PM at the Sanctuary of the Arts.
Following the success of last season’s appearance, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida is excited to present a new and compelling repertoire, offering audiences a fresh and exhilarating ballet experience in one of South Florida’s most intimate and elegant performance venues. This special evening is proudly supported by the City of Coral Gables, Miami-Dade County, and South Dade Toyota Kia, with the generous collaboration of the Sanctuary of the Arts.
The program opens with Glinka Suite Fantastique, a neo-classical work choreographed by Vladimir Issaev, blending musicality, clarity of line, and contemporary vitality. Audiences will also enjoy excerpts from Firebird, Issaev’s powerful reimagining of the legendary ballet, rich in dramatic intensity and dynamic movement.
Adding classical brilliance to the evening is Talisman Pas de Deux, a technically demanding and virtuosic showcase drawn from the great classical tradition, highlighting precision, strength, and refined partnering. The program concludes with the iconic Doble Corchea (Double Clef) by Venezuelan master choreographer Vicente Nebrada, a vibrant and rhythmically driven work celebrated internationally for its musical sophistication and emotional depth.
