Ugly Betty fans are enjoying the return of this beloved character with a hilarious new show, Betty En NY (BENY).
On Feb. 5, Telemundo 51 presented a VIP screening of Betty En NY in collaboration with Florida National University, where the event was held, and The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC). Following the screening, guests were treated to a discussion with BENY series actress Jeimy Osorio and Liliam Lopez, founder and CEO of the SFLHCC. The discussion was moderated by Telemundo reporter Leana Astorga.
This show targets a bilingual market and deals with self confidence, family values, personal rejection, beauty inside and out, and triumph despite odds, all of which were on topic for the post screening panel Q & A.
Among the many attending were members of the Coral Gables Woman’s Club, Business Forum in Doral, SFLHCC members and others.
