The worlds of art, athletics and business came together on Oct. 24 at the Ironman 70.3 Miami UnitedHealthcare Corporate Challenge Reception held at neo-pop artist Romero Britto’s gallery. Wilber Anderson, CEO and race director of Miami Tri Events, unveils the one-of-kind “Britto Bike” during the reception at Britto Central Gallery along with Bryan Palmer, vice president of sales and account management for UnitedHealthcare of South Florida, and Leanda Cave, four-time World Triathlon champion. The bike, raced by Cave in the City Bikes Ironman 70.3 Miami, raised $12,500 in a charity auction. The proceeds of the auction will benefit the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation, which provides medical grants to help children gain access to health-related services not covered, or not fully covered, by their parents’ commercial health insurance plan.
