Celebrate Hispanic composers with the Alhambra Orchestra
Alhambra Orchestra

The Alhambra Orchestra, led by artistic director Daniel Andai, presents an unforgettable celebration of Hispanic composers including Lecuona, Rodrigo, Sarasate, Tarrega and more, featuring the Guitar Concerto by Villa-Lobos with soloist Koh Kazama, a professor at New World School of the Arts.

Performances are Saturday, Sept. 28, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 29, at 3 p.m., in the Sanctuary of the Arts, 410 Andalusia Ave., Coral Gables 33134.

Attendees will enjoy hearing flutist Carol Naveira-Nicholson in a work by Rodrigo, and violinists Steffen Zeichner and Daniel Andai in a virtuosic duet by Sarasate. Plus, of course, there will be rousing popular Latin melodies.

The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, presenting live classical performances in affordable, convenient venues.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students (18 and under.) Tickets are available at https://ci.ovationtix.com/36755.
