Two dual-port Electrical Vehicle (level 3) charging stations are up and running at City Hall’s parking lot. They are part of the city’s Green Fleet program, made up of 20 gas-free electric vehicles powered by batteries.
The new charging stations in the parking lot at 405 Biltmore Way are available for the public’s use and are capable of recharging electric vehicles up to 70 percent of its power in about 30 minutes.
In addition, a total of 10 (level 2) ChargePoint charging stations are available at Parking Garage #2 (220 Aragon Ave.), Garage #4 (345 Andalusia Ave.) and Garage #6 (51 Aragon Ave.).
