Beautiful blowouts have arrived in Coral Gables! Yany Moreno, a local entrepreneur, mother and wife has brought Cherry Blow Dry Bar to 210 Miracle Mile! Cherry Blow Dry Bar offers just blowouts, the same price, no matter the day of the week, the time of day, or the length of your locks in a fantastic and fun environment.
“My main inspiration to open a Cherry Blow Dry Bar in Coral Gables was convenience especially for working women. “As a long time working woman, I know the advantage of a service like this. I would have loved to have gone two mornings a week and gotten a lovely shampoo and blow dry and then headed to my busy workday,” said Moreno. “Providing exceptional service and convenience to working moms, single ladies or just anyone who wants an awesome blowout is our mission,” says Moreno.
Offering blowouts for hair of any length for $35, hair extensions starting at $395 and a membership program starting at $65 for two blowouts with a membership for unlimited blowouts available, Cherry Blow Dry Bar is making a new name for itself in an industry that has taken off since 2010. Aimed at creating chic styles in an elegant yet classic blowout-bar setting, it’s targeted to any woman looking for beautiful hair, no longer needing to be justified by a special occasion.
The 1200 square foot location will draw clientele from not only the Coral Gables area but South Miami, Pinecrest, Coconut Grove and Kendall as well.
Before Cherry Blow Dry Bar, Moreno worked in the finance and insurance industry. “My husband and I have been business partners for 20 years. He is my counterpart. Together we have created successful businesses in the past and now we will grow Cherry Blow Dry Bar. We were very fortunate to be able to purchase Cherry Blow Dry Bar by selling our previous insurance agencies. I’ve been in the insurance industry my whole life and loved it. It taught me great customer service and gave me the tools to work in any environment. I knew I wanted to move on from the insurance industry but didn’t know what I wanted to do next at first. When my oldest son left for college I knew the next phase in my life involved making people feel great and this is why I knew Cherry Blow Dry Bar was the perfect fit for me.”
Over the next five years Moreno plans to have two salons up and running with one goal in mind, to achieve extraordinary service while having supremely talented stylists and most importantly happy and beautifully coiffed clients.
