On February 14, 2025 “Valentines Day,” the Clerk of the Court and Comptroller, Juan Fernandez-Barquin will officiate two ceremonies for twenty couples. This traditional event will be held on the historic court steps of the historic Dade County Courthouse “Cielito Lindo” for the last time as it is expected for the court to move to a new facility later this year. “I am honored to provide the opportunity once more to twenty couples to “tie the knot” for a last time on the steps of our beloved historic Dade Court, built in 1928.”
