The GFWC (General Federation of Woman’s Clubs) Coconut Grove Woman’s Club celebrated its 135th anniversary with a sold-out gala that was spectacular and a testament to the club’s commitment to the community and service.
The event’s success was the result of the efforts of club president Illine Davila, Jennifer White as well as gala chair Marlene Erven and her committee.
This club had a busy month not only celebrating its anniversary but also participating in the Coconut Grove Arts Festival and countless other activities. During the Feb. 25 General Federation of Women’s Club Florida District 11 meeting the club once again took first place for recruitment of new members.
