Michael Barket has been an attorney since 1999. His practice focuses on Family and Matrimonial Law, Child Custody, Paternity, Alimony, Child Support, Adoptions, Probate Law, Administration of Estates and Real Estate.
Mr. Barket is a member in good standing with the Supreme Court of the United States of America, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is also a member of The Florida Bar, Real Property and Probate Trust Law Section and the Family Law Section as well as the Dade County Bar Association.
Mr. Barket was born and raised in Miami-Dade County Florida, where he graduated from Christopher Columbus High School. After high school he enrolled at Miami Dade College and went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Seattle University in 1994. He earned his law degree from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law 1997.
Mr. Barket has served on the on The City of Miami: Police Chief Search Committee, Bayfront Park Management Trust, Equal Opportunity Advisory Board and Community Relations Board and as a Judge for Miami-Dade County Teen Court.
