A leader in the non-profit community, Nick Duran is running for the Florida House of Representatives District 112 to help improve the quality of life for families and children in South Florida.
In 2013, he became the State Director for Enroll America in Florida and currently serves as the executive director of the Florida Assoc. of Free & Charitable Clinics, dedicated to strengthening community access to affordable, quality healthcare.
He wishes to adequately fund the state’s education system, increase access to high-quality health care, support common sense gun-safety laws, and build an economy that is fair for middle class families. He also will address sea-level rise as consequence of global warming and an imminent threat to the Florida economy.
Duran has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida and a J.D. from New York Law School. He served as state chair for the University of South Florida Covering Kids and Families State Coalition, and is a member of Leadership Florida.
For Florida State House of Representatives District 112, Community Newspapers recommends Nick Duran.
