As condominium residents and associations deal with deadlines to comply with Florida’s building safety act, known as SB 4-D, Coast to Coast General Contractors (CTC) is a company with three decades of experience which is helping with inspections. As a premier leader in the restoration industry, CTC is helping condos to satisfy state requirements in a timely manner, especially with hurricane season a month away.

Condo milestone safety and structural inspections are due by condos at the end of the year and CTC has a team which includes engineers, architects and project managers which have specialized experience with association managers.

“We recognize that condominium associations require more than just a contractor, they need a dedicated partner who understands their challenges and can provide tailored solutions,” explains Yanieve Levy, CTC president. “We have partnered with hundreds of associations who have faced these challenges in the past and now updates to the Florida Building Code actually allow for residents to have long-term peace of mind.”

With the increased concerns of condominium owners regarding inspections which include structure, systems and mandatory reserve funding, CTC has expanded its team with the addition of vice president Audrey Ortiz. Renowned for her extensive experience of navigating complex regulatory requirements, Ortiz delivers guidance towards complete restorations and recertification, including prudent financial solutions.

“Audrey’s deep understanding of association property management and her passion for client success enhances our partnerships during these times of change,” said Levy. “With association managers facing recertification, substantial expertise and efficiency are required by established companies for proper due diligence. Audrey is making a huge difference for clients with prudent action steps.”

The significant changes to Florida’s Condominium Act are one of the reasons that Coast to Coast General Contractors is expanding services from South Florida to Naples and Orlando. By introducing new project management tools and technologies, the company is meeting increasing demands of associations throughout the state.
