Construction of the new City of Coral Gables Adult Activity Center is in progress for the facility’s new 9,682-square-foot space on the ground floor of The Palace Coral Gables, located at 2 Andalusia Ave. The new location is expected to open this summer with further details to be provided as an opening date is confirmed.
All programs and activities currently being held at the War Memorial Youth Center will be relocated to the new site. Part of the city’s Community Recreation Department, the Adult Activity Center offers classes, group activities, social events, and other resources for all adults 50 years of age and older.
Once the Adult Activity Center opens, complimentary valet parking will be available across the street at The Palace. Free parking will be available in the garage with validation.
