The Coral Gables Community Foundation awarded $1.42 million in scholarships on Tuesday, May 7, with an audience of about 250 present at the Newman Alumni Center on the UM campus. At center is Matthew Meehan, board member and chair of the Scholarship Committee, who guided the process of selecting the awards with the help of many generous fund holders and donors.
